Day 1 - London to Venice

Fly with British Airways from London to Venice in Euro Traveller Class.

Days 1-4 - Venice

P 4 Star Palazzo Giovanelli Venice

Arrive in Venice, and check in for a 3 night stay at the Palazzo Giovanelli Venice.

The Palazzo Giovanelli Hotel in Venice is a brand new hotel but is set in a 15th century palace, and has 41 comfortable bedrooms. It is a quirky hotel as each bedroom is different and blends modernity and history in a unique style. The hotel overlooks the Grand Canal, and is next to the San Stae Church and Vaporetto stop.

Day 4-5 - Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

Orient-Express Orient-Express

Board the splendid Wagons-Lits carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express at Venice Santa Lucia station. Your steward will show you to your private compartment, before you enjoy a three-course lunch as you gaze at the beautiful passing scenery of the Italian Dolomites, the Austrian and Swiss Alps. Afternoon tea is served in your compartment. A four-course dinner is served in the evening.
The next morning breakfast is served in your compartment before train pulls into Paris Gare de l’Est and halts for 40 minutes, a delicious brunch is served in the restaurant cars as you travel on towards the French coast for the Channel crossing.
Join the cream and umber carriages of the British Pullman for the journey to London. A traditional English afternoon tea accompanied by a glass of champagne is served to you at your table and you watch the gentle scenery of Kent pass by. Suddenly, you are drawing into London Victoria station.

Venice with its unique atmosphere offers unforgettable experiences from the opulent Doge's Palace to the bustling Grand Canal. Hop on a vaporetti (Venice's water taxis) to discover the canals, and see the classic Palazzos, or explore on foot the tiny streets and beautiful bridges.

The hotel has a private garden, a luxury spa and views over the Lagoon. The hotel is in a quiet setting on Giudecca Island, across the Lagoon from St Mark's Square (a short trip on the hotel's water taxi).
